When I want something that feels slightly elevated but not extreme, I stop at Bristol Farms. The prepared foods are solid, and I’ve found high-quality meats and specialty pantry items here. It’s quieter than some of the larger chains, which I appreciate. I treat it as a focused stop for specific ingredients rather than a full restock.

I love Bristol. Senior Tuesdays and coupons help with prices. You really do get what you pay for. Whenever I have people over, they always ask "Where did you get this meat? It tastes like meat used to taste." Butchers are helpful and wonderful. Produce top notch and plenty of organics. They even have raw milk. I pat more, yes, but eat less and have not been sick in a decade. Real food and high quality. The prepared food is great. The far back area with kitchen stuff makes me happy just to walk through, beautifully done. The kitchen tools outlast anything I've bought anywhere else. And the people? Once in a blue moon someone's grouchy, but I have my bad days too. On the whole, considerate and helpful. And if that were not enough, the milk chocolate cookies at the bakery are the best I've ever had! Go early and escape the crowds. Lovely store, I'm a customer for life.

My wife and I are long time customers and we usually love the items from the seafood section. We always get the 3 same items, candied salmon, poke bar and sushi rice. Unfortunately the quality this time was, subpar. The poke bar was obviously not very fresh, the color was off from being exposed to the air so long, along with a bar of chopsticks being stuck into the middle of the poke. The rice wasn’t fresh either, dry and almost too sweet and finally the candied salmon was soggy, not candied more just covered in a sweet sauce. Usually the quality is amazing and the food delicious, unfortunately not this time.

Love the selection inside the store, but the parking lot situation could use more attention. There’s often a gray Toyota Prius parked there for long periods with the driver sitting with his feet out of the window. It doesn’t create the best impression for customers walking into a high-end store like Bristol Farms. It would be great if management kept an eye on long-term loitering in the lot.

I stopped by the store today to pick up a few items after deciding to surprise my family with a Valentine’s Day dinner. I used to live in Pasadena and have since moved away, but I made the drive back because my family truly loves the quality of the produce here. While at the rotisserie counter selecting a few ready-to-go items to complement dinner, I learned I was a bit too early for the mashed potatoes—my daughter’s absolute favorite. Henry, the employee assisting me, asked a couple of questions and then said, “Don’t worry, I got you.” He went to the back and came out shortly after with fresh mashed potatoes just for us. That level of service made a real impact. Henry went above and beyond, and it meant a lot to me and my family. Thank you for consistently delivering both quality products and exceptional customer care.
